Applications are being accepted for summer employment positions, which will be required from Mid-May to June for start date to August 31st. The successful candidates will report to the Urban Operations Manager.
Duties will include various tasks in the Public Works department including:
- Grass mowing within town boundaries, urban parks, and urban roadside mowing.
- Weed whacking, push mowing, planting trees and shrubs.
- Debris cleanup and drainage works.
- Other related duties as assigned.
The following qualifications would be considered an asset:
- Experience in operating small equipment (30 hp tractors, mowers, and utility vehicles).
- Experience in towing trailers with a half-ton truck
- Knowledge of repair and maintenance of equipment.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
Applicants must possess a S.I.N. and a valid Manitoba (Class 5 or better) license.
